The opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists in our Supply Chain department within the Oil, Gas, and Power division for a Buyer located in Calgary, Alberta. The purpose of this position is to monitor, coordinate and expedite the flow of materials between the supply chain and our suppliers to meet operational needs.

In this role, you will be accountable for:
- Supporting procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and quality standards.
- Assisting with RFx processes, supplier communications, and basic contract administration under guidance.
- Helping maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and finance to facilitate procurement tasks.
- Tracking supplier performance and helping ensure adherence to safety and quality expectations.
- Participating in process improvement initiatives and gaining exposure to procurement best practices.
- Providing administrative support for sourcing, including data entry, invoice tracking, and document management.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively.
