MDSearch is recruiting Family Physicians for a combined LFP + Preventative Health position to join the medical care team of one of Canada's most recognized brands in North Vancouver for 4-5 days per week. The clinic focuses on family practice, preventive medicine, personalized health and wellness plans, and delivering quality healthcare outcomes.
About the Role:
In our combined LFP and Preventive care practice, a portion of your day or week will be spend delivering traditional longitudinal family medicine care to a small panel of approximately 400 patients. The other portion of the day or week will be dedicated to conducting preventing, wellness, non-medical treatment exams.
You will be working in a collaborative environment with opportunities to participate in care innovation, thought leadership and potentially medical leadership, if that is of interest at some point.
Key Responsibilities:
LFP Family Physician:
- Provide longitudinal primary care to a small patient panel.
- Competitive Split-Fee for direct (80/20) and indirect patient care and panel payments (90/10).
Physician - Preventive Health:
- Conduct preventative and wellness health assessments.
- Compensation: $250-$300/hr (no overhead).
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside other dedicated family physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, LPNs, and allied care clinicians.
- Innovative Care: Opportunities to participate in care innovation, thought leadership, and potentially medical leadership.
- Competitive Compensation: Total annual compensation potential on the conservative side after overhead is about $390,000 and on the higher end $450,000, depending on the panel size and how busy you will want to be with the preventive and wellness side of the practice.

- Maintain medical liability insurance through the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
