This is a new exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis, focusing onour primary Sleep Country / Dormez-Vous (SCC / DV) portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate with various business units, provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting, manage dashboards and databases, and support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Job Description

• Manage/develop dashboards and reports to monitor business performance
• Collaborate with business partners to create business cases for new stores and ensure alignment with the annual budget, and project return thresholds (NPV, IRR, and payback)
• Support in the quarterly forecasting and annual budget process for SCC/DV and provide ad-hoc analysis as required by the business
• Analyze large amounts of data and draw conclusions based on the trend and observations
• Support in the creation and maintenance of monthly corporate-level reporting activities such as monthly CSG Committee pack and quarterly board presentation materials
• Identify areas to improve efficiency through automation, simplification, and prioritization
• Support Finance leaders on ad-hoc initiatives

Qualifications

• BA in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• 3+ years of work experience in Finance is required
• Obtained or working towards CPA/CFA designation considered an asset
• Knowledge of the retail industry and e-commerce is a definite asset
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and recommendations while considering all stakeholders' viewpoints
• Strong analytical and inquiry skills to understand operational processes and constraints
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, data management, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Domo)
• Experience using FP&A / planning software (e.g., Prophix, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
• Experience using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Domo etc)
• Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
