We're looking for a Merchandising Coordinator (Hybrid) to join our growing company and play a key role in our customer experience by ensuring each purchase ends in a smile!
In this role you will:
  • Provide day to day administrative support (data entry) to the merchandising team across mattress and accessories categories as well as our DTC brands.
  • Provide support to stores by responding to associate questions via email related to pricing and promotions
  • Support in the preparation of information/data for weekly, monthly, and annual meetings
  • As required liaise with Supply Chain to get the complete information required for the Product Supply department to enter the products into systems and stores. Provide support with addition of new products to our line by investigating products as directed.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Sales teams on discontinued schedules and new product roll outs
  • Prepare events and every-day price tag files and work with the printing service provider to ensure promotional and regular price tags are accurate and delivered on time to all stores.
  • Prepare and maintain sales support documents including cost sheets and spiff tables with high accuracy and make them accessible on SharePoint.
  • Develop and document efficient workflows, creating clear and accessible Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the Merchandising team and ensure consistency across processes.
  • As directed, communicate product launches, details of products, and new initiatives.
  • Execute the delivery of: Packaging, Store Display, Signage, POP materials.
  • Support in the development of product knowledge for all applicable departments.
  • Obtain and organize all necessary Sales Product Knowledge for all applicable departments and ensure current information is accessible on SharePoint.

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:
  • A University/College degree or postgraduate certificate in Merchandising, Business Administration or Logistics, or related field are considered an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' previous merchandising, or operations administrative experience in a retail environment.
  • Previous experience with Storis, Oracle or similar ERP system is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively collaborate and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization and time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong MS Excel Skills (look ups, formulas, pivot table, etc.
