We are seeking our next great team member to join our team as an Apprentice Autobody Repair Technician. If you have a customer-centric approach to all duties and interactions is a must and you are an organized, team-oriented candidate that has excelled in a fast-paced environment.
Our tenured staff is ready to help you start your new career at The Pas Collision & Glass in the Pas, Manitoba.
Major Responsibilities:
● Assist in Vehicle Disassembly and Reassembly
● Support licensed technicians in removing and reinstalling vehicle parts, trim, and panels to prepare for repairs or painting
● Learn and assist with repairing vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, and surface preparation under supervision.
● Sand, mark, and clean surfaces in preparation for painting or refinishing work
● Properly use hand and power tools, maintain cleanliness and report any tool or equipment issues to senior technicians.
● Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and keep the work area clean and organized
● Participate in on-the-job training, attend required trade school sessions, and apply learned skills in the shop environment
● Assist in documenting work performed, parts used, and time taken, as directed by the supervisor or autobody technician
● Handle customer vehicles with care, ensuring cleanliness and protection during repair processes
● Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications & Skills:
● Highly detail-oriented with the ability to produce superior-quality work.
● Strong understanding and compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
● Resourceful, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
● Valid Driver's License is MANDATORY.
