Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Outdoor Maintenance Person to help maintain the beautiful grounds, gardens, vineyards, and exterior spaces of Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:Landscaping & Groundskeeping:

• Mow lawns, trim hedges, prune trees, weed gardens when required.
• Maintain walking paths, driveways, patios, and vineyard rows.
  

Vineyard & Winery Grounds Support:

• Assist with vineyard maintenance tasks such as tying, trimming, and harvesting (seasonal).

Facility Exterior Upkeep:

• Clean outdoor furniture, patios, and recreational areas.
• Perform minor repairs on outdoor structures, fencing, and signage.
• Remove trash and debris from all outdoor areas.
  

Seasonal Duties:

• Leaf raking and gutter cleaning in fall.
• Holiday or event décor setup as needed.
  

Safety & Reporting:Report damages, unsafe conditions, or repair needs to the maintenance team.
Qualifications:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Comfort working in a variety of weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Valid driver's license (preferred).
  

Working Conditions:

• Primarily outdoors with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
• Weekend or evening hours may be required, especially during peak seasons and events.
