ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Repair & Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities. • Hourly wage: $25.00 - $33.00/hour depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Install and assemble fixtures, appliances, furniture, and equipment.
• Inspect properties for issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding work progress and issues.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Other duties as required.

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
• Experience in commercial service.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting ability is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Strong troubleshooting ability is an asset.
