Job Title: Delivery Fulfillment Specialist (DFS)

Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager

Position Overview

Brown's Auto Supply is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Fulfillment Specialist (DFS) to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of automotive paints, materials, and equipment to our customers. This role is critical in maintaining on-time order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and efficient logistics operations. The ideal candidate has experience in delivery operations, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to body shops, dealerships, and automotive service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Delivery

• Accurately pick, pack, and load orders for delivery based on customer requests.
• Ensure safe and timely deliveries of automotive paints, materials, and equipment to customers across Ontario.
• Verify order accuracy before departure and resolve any discrepancies.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Provide friendly and professional service when delivering to customers.
• Communicate with customers to confirm deliveries and address any immediate concerns.
• Serve as a company representative by maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude during all interactions.

Vehicle & Safety Compliance

• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with road regulations and company policies.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials, including following all safety protocols for automotive paints and chemicals.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.

Warehouse & Logistics Support

• Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Support the warehouse team in stocking, organizing, and inventory control.
• Help identify and resolve any logistical issues that could delay deliveries.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and proof of delivery documents.
• Report any delays, vehicle issues, or customer concerns to the warehouse or operations manager.
• Communicate inventory shortages or delivery challenges to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in delivery, fulfillment, logistics, or a related role.
• Valid G-class driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Ontario's road safety regulations and hazardous material handling procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automotive distribution or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with automotive paints, refinishing materials, and equipment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
