We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Manual Testing and experience in ADA compliance to join our dynamic team within the banking sector. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform manual testing of banking applications, ensuring proper functionality, performance, and compliance with ADA standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting of issues reported.
  • Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with ADA standards, identifying and documenting areas for improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality assurance best practices.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance quality assurance efforts within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing, specifically within the banking industry.
  • Demonstrable experience with accessibility standards, specifically ADA compliance testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate testing progress and outcomes clearly.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks that support manual testing and defect tracking.
