Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of home building materials in Markham, is seeking a dedicated and personable Bi-lingual (Mandarin/Cantonese & English) Front Desk Support staff member to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients have a positive and welcoming experience as they visit our store. This position will start off temporary and can lead to permanent employment with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle all incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Assist customers with their product inquiries, orders, and returns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.
- Coordinate with other team members to manage daily schedules, appointments, and customer follow-ups.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing email correspondence.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service or a similar role preferred.
- Must be bi-lingual in Mandarin/Cantonese and English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic computer skills.
