We are currently seeking a person to fill the Automation & Control Specialist in our Atlantic Region. What You Will Do with Us As the Rexel Atlantic Automation & Control Specialist, you are responsible for the Automation & Control product portfolio. You will support the geographical region in the Atlantic. Reporting to the Automation & Control Manager, you will represent the segment of Schneider IAD program and the Rexel Atlantic automation & control portfolio of services supporting both internal and external customers with selection and solution knowledge while being responsible for the sales performance of the Services discipline within the assigned territory. How You Will Thrive with Us * You will prepare and execute an annual strategic business plan for sales development. * You will develop and execute commercial activities as a component of an annual strategic business plan. * You will actively manage an opportunity funnel that is appropriate for achieving sales objectives. * You will actively pursue and develop new business opportunities. * You will support Rexel Atlantic and Schneider local sales representatives with account planning and execution. * You will act as a pre-sale technical consultant to provide technical solutions to customers. * You will provide post-sale technical support to build the competency and confidence of customers. * You will conduct technical presentations and product updates. * You will attend supplier partner training (Canada/US) to maintain a high level of specialized product and application knowledge. * You must be able to travel regularly or as needed for training as this is required for the position. * You will execute product launches, seminars, promotional programs, etc. * You will implement strategies to address competition and expand market penetration using available marketing tools. Who Are You * You have an Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution. * You have a minimum of 2-years of previous experience in automation or technical product sales/support. * You have strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills * You have a strong ability to build relationships. * Working knowledge of industrial automation is preferred. * You have product and application knowledge of automation products and services. * **Valid driver's license and passport will be required for this position.
