DZ Delivery Driver – Kenworth (Manual Transmission)

Location: Toronto & Greater Toronto Area (Local Routes)

Contract: 3-Month Assignment | May 20 – End of September

Pay: $23/hour | Hourly

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start – finish depends on load (typically 10-hour days) Overtime may be required

We're hiring an experienced and safety-focused DZ Delivery Driver for a 3-month assignment delivering tile across Toronto and the GTA. This role involves operating a manual Kenworth truck equipped with a pump truck and tailgate, delivering fragile and heavy loads to residential and construction sites.

Job Duties:

• Operate a company-provided Kenworth DZ truck (manual/standard transmission)

• Complete 3–4 daily runs to homes or construction sites within the GTA

• Load and unload tile materials using a pump truck and tailgate

• Start each day at 7:00 AM – finish time depends on load and schedule

• No work on Jewish religious holidays (unpaid)

Safety & Load Expectations:

• Must have experience with load securement and shifting loads

• Handle fragile tile products with care to minimize breakage during transit

• Properly strap, pad, and balance all loads

• Responsible for pre- and post-trip inspections

• Maintain a safety-first mindset — no shortcuts on securement or handling

• Familiarity with weight distribution when using tailgates and pump trucks Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with DZ or AZ license

• Proven ability to drive manual/standard transmission

• Must be in good physical condition – tile deliveries require some lifting

• Comfortable navigating tight residential areas and construction zones

• Must wear steel-toe boots

• Clean driver's abstract required

• Able to work overtime when needed

• Vehicle and gas card provided

• Not accepting incorporated drivers – paid hourly
