About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a skilled, dual-ticketed Millwright Electrician to join their growing team!

This role supports succession planning efforts and helps manage the increasing number of machines and maintenance demands on site. You'll play a critical role in installing new equipment, maintaining machinery, and being a trusted in-house electrical resource, helping them keep things moving efficiently.

You'll report to the Production Lead and work alongside a solid team that values skill, dedication, and collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, equipment, and plant components.

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HMIs, PLCs, electronic control systems, and communication networks.

  • Program PLCs, configure SCADA systems, and read technical diagrams and manuals.

  • Retrieve and input work orders through the Maintenance Program and help order necessary supplies.

  • Operate forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, lathes, milling machines, and other maintenance equipment.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve equipment and process efficiency.

  • Train operators on updated operating methods.

  • Perform precision fabrication, welding, and modifications to machinery as needed.

  • Help install, hook up, test, and debug new machines, ensuring full operational readiness.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid 433A Millwright License and 442A Electrician License (both required).

  • 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

  • Ability to operate and safely work with forklifts, overhead cranes, scissor lifts, lathes, and milling machines (certifications can be arranged).

  • Proficient with technical drawings and diagrams.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Decision-making ability is based on safety, efficiency, and good judgment.

  • PLC programming experience is an asset.

  • Computer literacy (basic maintenance, tracking software knowledge).

  • Someone who lives within an hour drive of Hamilton, ON.

Why Join Us?

  • Be a key part of our future succession planning and continued growth.

  • Work with a company that's invested in long-term innovation and manufacturing excellence.

  • Enjoy a full-time, stable opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.
