Position Overview for a Recovery and Remarketing Director:
The Recovery and Remarketing Directoris responsible for high quality analysis of business processes and procedures. They are to maximize revenue from used and leased vehicles, enhance customer retention, streamline recovery processes, and build strategic partnerships as well as oversee, direct, and manage their team members and their success.

Responsibilities for a Recovery and Remarketing Director:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the resale value of vehicles and effectively remarket inventory.
  • Oversee the assessment of vehicle inventory to identify opportunities for remarketing, ensuring optimal pricing and presentation.
  • Build relationships with dealerships, wholesalers, and auction houses to enhance remarketing channels and optimize vehicle sales.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitive pricing strategies to inform remarketing efforts.
  • Analyze sales data to evaluate the success of remarketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop targeted outreach programs for previous customers, offering incentives for trade-ins or repeat purchases to drive recovery.
  • Streamline recovery processes for vehicles, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions for repossessions or non-payments.
  • Work closely with finance teams to assess the impact of remarketing and recovery efforts on overall profitability and loss mitigation.
  • Ensure all remarketing and recovery practices adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Lead and mentor teams focused on remarketing, recovery, and customer relations, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on remarketing and recovery performance, including insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications for a Recovery and Remarketing Director:

  • Ability to work in office.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in remarking and recovery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive management role.
  • Experience working with Financial & Loan Management Software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 (Office, Excel, Word & Teams).
  • A degree or related education in business administration, marketing or finance.
