Admissions and Boarding Coordinator

Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Enrolment Management, the Admissions and Boarding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the overall success of the family boarding program within the GNS community. This position will manage and administer the family boarding program, support the integration of all boarding students into the GNS community and support Admissions with recruitment and retention initiatives. This role relies on building and maintaining engaging and positive relationships with students, host and home families and school personnel. What Youll Bring
You will hold a bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Cultural Studies, International Relations, or a related field, along with a minimum of four years experience working in a cross-cultural environment, preferably within education, admissions, or community programs. Experience with boarding or homestay coordinator, international student services, and a high-volume administrative support will be strong assets. The successful candidate will be empathetic, responsive, and skilled at fostering trust-based partnerships with external stakeholders, including agents and families from diverse backgrounds. You will bring excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, clear and effective communication, and a high level of professionalism when managing sensitive situations. Flexibility to attend evening/weekend events and travel domestically or internationally is required. A second language and experience living or working abroad would be considered valuable additions. Access to your own vehicle and a valid BC Drivers license are required.
