Job Description:
- Assist the project manager in executing the project mandate by utilizing advanced technical acumen and effective leadership competencies.
- Lead a team of subject matter experts, business analysts, and vendor resources to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate and moderate meetings and produce the meeting minutes.
- Track day-to-day project tasks to ensure the timely and in-scope delivery of agreed-upon deliverables.
- Identify and proactively address project issues and risks to the project manager, providing a mitigation plan.
- Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery requirements are fulfilled.
- Track and update the implementation plan, highlighting any deviations to the project manager.
- Deliver project status reports and maintain various project management trackers (e.g., action point tracker, issue and risk register), presenting the project status in formal project governance meetings.
- Utilizing a collaborative approach effectively motivates the team and ensures adherence to progress in a demanding project environment, facilitating the achievement of delivery deadlines.
- The Technical Lead will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Privacy and Security training, as mandated by the Deployment Project, prior to commencing the assignment.
- The client seeks a candidate who demonstrates the following Mandatory Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology or information management-related work Yes/No.
- Demonstrated experience working on a project for technical. implementation/upgrade/migration/transformation 6 Years.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with subject matter experts, business teams, and vendors to achieve the desired outcomes of assigned tasks 6 Years.
- Demonstrated experience in project management for Property Assessment information systems, including Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) projects specific to service delivery agencies and government entities Yes/No.
- Candidates that do not clearly demonstrate the capability to meet these mandatory requirements will be disqualified from further consideration.
- Demonstrated experience in a leading role to ensure the delivery of project and operational deliverables 6 years.
- Demonstrated experience working within a team environment where the candidate was required to perform tasks in a combination of collaborative and autonomous modes 6 years.
- Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI) in managing assigned tasks and producing status reports 4 years.
- Demonstrated experience with at least one (1) cloud SaaS implementation with significant business transformation would be an asset.
