We are currently looking for a Pipelayer to assist our construction team in Revelstoke. The successful candidate will be an individual with a flexible schedule to work with our team on multiple civil construction projects throughout British Columbia. The right candidate will have the training and confidence to aid the construction team in projects.
Expectations
Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain underground utility pipelines according to blueprints, specifications, and safety codes.

Dig trenches and excavate areas using hand tools, machinery, and equipment to prepare for pipe installation.
Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure the integrity and quality of installed
Cut pipes to required lengths
Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
Dig trenches to desired or required depths by hand or using trenching tools
Carry out site foremans directives safely throughout daily operations
Install various sizes and materials of the pipe
Work safely in deep trenches
Ability to safely work around excavation equipment including excavators, loaders, packers, etc.
Ability to multi-task
Highly organized with acute attention to detail
Strong team player and self-motivated
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Ability to read blueprints and city specifications is required
Experience in civil construction
Understanding of current OH&S safe work practices and regulations
Physically fit to perform duties.
Class 5 License is required.
