RequirementsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Odyssey Medical is looking for experience-driven individuals within Alberta to join our Medical Volunteer Program within our EVENT MEDICAL TEAM division. Main event/festival locations: Calgary, Edmonton, Strathmore and Camrose. As key members of our medical volunteer personnel, you will support our front-line essential members at selected Major Planned Events in providing services to our clients and patients.
Our mission is to provide primary medical response to any on-site medical emergencies at each event. Within that, we are looking for team members who can;
- Successfully complete all mandatory areas of the company's training
- Provide a responsive, respectful and welcoming environment for event attendees and patients and other staff
- Be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-stress environments, both indoor and outdoor
- You are a student (PCP, Medical or RN) or a newly certified medical personnel with the motivation to learn and gain experience working in the event medical industry
- Must have your IFA, EFR, EMR, PCP, ACP, RN certification or be working towards finalizing one of these certifications
- Be able to adhere to your scope of practice while learning and ensuring that patients remain your top priority while providing care
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Must be coachable with a willingness to learn!
