The RoleWe're hiring a Recruiter to handle mass hiring for general temp positions, ensuring a steady pipeline of workers for our clients' everyday needs. You'll source, screen, and place candidates in roles like labourers, pickers/packers, and forklift operators, recruiting in different markets across Canada and the USA. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who excels at meeting demand and hitting targets in a fast-paced, multi-region environment.
What You'll Do- Source Talent: Find and attract candidates for high-volume temp roles using job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach across diverse markets in Canada and the USA.
- Screen & Place: Quickly assess candidates' skills and availability, matching them to general positions like labourers, pickers/packers, forklift operators, and more.
- Meet Volume Goals: Fill multiple openings weekly to keep client operations running smoothly, hitting placement targets consistently across multiple regions.
- Maintain Quality: Ensure candidates are reliable and meet basic client requirements for retention and satisfaction, regardless of market.
- Team Up: Collaborate with a small team of recruiters and a manager to support collective success and share best practices.
- Experience: 1–2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally with a focus on mass hiring for general roles such as labourers, pickers/packers, forklift operators, or similar positions.
- Proven Ability: A track record of filling multiple positions efficiently, with an eye for dependable candidates.
- Efficiency Mindset: Comfort managing high-volume hiring with strong organizational skills and a knack for multitasking across different markets.
- Industry Insight: Basic understanding of temp staffing and general labour needs (preferred but not required).
- Skills: Solid communication and interpersonal skills; familiarity with recruiting tools (e.g., Indeed, ATS systems) is a plus.
