We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst (12-month contract), reporting to the Wealthview Solutions Manager, Core Lending Platform. This position will be a key individual involved in maintaining and elevating our loan management system (Wealthview Banking). The successful candidate is a critical thinker that will have hands-on experience in financial systems including a solid understanding of different technologies such as CRM, LMS (Loans management systems) with deep routed database structural understanding including query knowledge (SQL/SOQL) or programming experience coupled with exceptional communication skills.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for designing system interfaces and solutions across our loan management systems.
- Conduct code and design reviews, identify bugs, and increase code quality.
- Provide the development team with design and system analysis for various projects involving application development, system and data migrations, and functionality additions.
- Act as the Wealthview business analyst to create system requirement specifications and design artifacts.
- Work with onshore and offshore development teams for project implementations.
- Ensure compliance with design and corporate development standards.
- Collaborate with software architects and developers on technical issues.
- Review test protocols to support QA and User Acceptance testing.
- Identify issues and risks throughout the project life cycle and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify creative and scalable technology solutions.
- Participate and contribute to multiple cross-functional meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
- Assist in application roadmap development and help implement technology best practices.
What experience do you have?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience working as a systems analyst or in a related capacity.
- Operational and functional knowledge of Wealthview Banking or Ovation would be a major asset.
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL Server).
- Hands-on software development (JavaScript, XML preferred), including SDLC knowledge.
- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting within applications.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with different levels of internal customers.
- Agile methodology experience, including Jira/Confluence.
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture is preferred.
- Salesforce design and architecture experience is nice to have.
- MuleSoft experience is nice to have.
- Visio skillset is nice to have.
