We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic financial team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in budgeting processes and financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Prepare reports for senior management & engage in the decisions to manage business challenges and opportunities

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role within the retail or manufacturing sectors
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
• 4+ years' of bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, budgeting, payroll processes, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders across the organization.
