- Compile, process, review, and provide import/export documentation through customs brokers while ensuring compliance with customs and internal documentation standards.
- Collect and compile the required documents relating to receiving and issuing Pos.
- Assist in generating documents for cross-border shipments, including Bills of Lading, Release Order, Packing Slips, Picking Slips, Commercial Invoice, etc.
- Assist with order processing, including US sales orders received via email, phone, or fax.
- Analyze orders to determine appropriate order quantities based on our pack sizes, minimum order quantities, delivery date schedule, and freight rates.
- Assist with liaising with freight companies for competitive rates and delivery schedules for all shipments.
- Verify order documentation for accuracy.
- Update inventory levels as needed, ensuring orders are fulfilled while maintaining a back-order log against inbound shipments.
- Work closely with the QA department, ensuring food safety and quality of the products; instill the priority of food safety with all team members in shipping and receiving, and enforce food safety requirements (BRC) and SOPs such as related to documentation.
- Ensure efficiency of operations, including day-to-day shipments, running weekly inventory reports, and summarizing shipments by account every month.
- Other duties as required.
- University degree, from an accredited institution in a related field, required.
- 3 years' experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator or related roles.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative support function.
- Exceptional Customer service, and oral and written communication.
- Excellent organization skills, planning, and problem-solving skills.
