Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic

Rusted Nuts Mechanical Services Ltd., a small well-established heavy-duty repair shop in Calgary, is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic with 3 or more years experience to join our team and help us expand our business.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on a variety of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, trailers, and light construction machinery.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Conduct Commercial Vehicle inspections and safety checks on equipment.

Evenings and weekends will sometimes be required with notice.

Service calls, and field diagnostics

Engine services, truck and equipment services and PM checks.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

Valid Alberta Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification.

Valid CVIP certificate for Truck, Trailer, Light truck

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Class 3 license considered an asset.

Automotive experience considered an asset

Welding skills considered an asset.

We offer:

$40-$50/per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Boot and tool allowance
