Overview
Our client seeks a dedicated and skilled X-ray technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in North York.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images as requested by physicians.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Correctly position patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, maintain cleanliness, and report malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in radiologic technology.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. (CMRITO, CAMRT).
  • Active certification as an X-ray or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certification preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to imaging procedures.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and medical imaging software.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week (flexible schedule may be possible)
  • Part-time: Hours negotiable
