Senior Industrial Energy Engineer
RPI is representing a leading Canadian firm specializing in energy efficiency and decarbonization. They develop and manage tailored energy programs to maximize impact, streamline operations, and enhance customer engagement across sectors like industrial operations, manufacturing, utilities, government, and oil and gas.
The Senior Industrial Energy Engineer will develop, implement, and manage strategies to optimize energy consumption and reduce costs. This role is ideal for senior industry experts seeking a career change or individuals passionate about emission reduction.
Your Success will be defined by your ability to:

• Use existing operational knowledge to prepare detailed facility energy use analysis using to develop a relationship between energy and production
• Prepare reports and management presentations for the findings, outcomes, and recommendations
• Assess documents such as equipment engineering specifications, P&ID's, site layout, process flow diagrams, etc. to draft scopes, plan energy audits, and recommend improvements
• Lead the scope of work development for industrial energy analysis on specific systems or equipment to assess energy efficiency opportunities

Your Strengths Include:

• 10-15 years of technical experience, P.Eng. or Registered Technologist
• Work experience in industrial plants, including installation and commissioning of capital projects, and familiarity with industrial systems and processes such as pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, and thermal energy systems.
• Working knowledge and a general understanding around energy consumption and the relationships to production
