Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: York Region, ON
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/year
Position Description:
- Follow up after hours via email, portals, or phone as needed.
- Handle all customer service duties per BOS Procedures (BOS 5/6)
- Pull and post EDI customer releases to the CMI system.
- Verify demand load accuracy before MRP run.
- Issue shipping worksheets to the Shipping Department in advance.
- Manage transportation, logistics, and premium freight for customer base
- Coordinate quality concerns with engineers and address customer engineering changes.
- Provide on-call support during non-business hours.
- Adhere to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good basic math skills
- Proficient in business applications
- Knowledge of automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer shipping procedures
- Highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Available to work on Canadian statutory holidays.
- Work one weekend per month (remote Saturday, half-hour Sunday portal check)
