About the role:

Our Accounting Admin & Payroll will gain experience in various accounting processes and will support our employee experience by ensuring they provide responsive, friendly, and professional service. The successful candidate will be a team player who takes initiative and knows how to get the job done right the first time around. This position is perfect for someone who is process-driven, comfortable working independently, but enjoys a team-oriented approach.

You'll work Monday to Friday, and have weekends off to enjoy your own RV camping adventures!

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting & Payroll Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and executing payroll, benefits, and assisting in accounting processes, including:

• Maintain a payroll system that ensures timely and accurate compensation processing for all employees
• Ensuring the timely filing of all payroll tax and benefit reports
• Responding to employee questions and inquiries regarding pay to resolve any payment issues that may arise
• Processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll, including time adjustments, bonus calculation, and commission calculations, administering vacation pay, and deducting ARs
• Partnering with the Controller to administer payroll elements of the benefits program, including calculation and deduction of premiums
• Assisting with processing and recording daily financial transactions
• Processing aged receivables and following up on payments
• Compiling and reconciling daily cash outs
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date accounting records
• Supporting the processing of payables and expense reports
• Responding to questions related to billing and payment status
• Preparing payment documents for approval and coordinating with relevant departments
• Maintaining accounts payable files and records
  

Requirements:

• 1-2 years payroll administrative experience
• A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, keen eye for detail, and excellent time management
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to our 28712 114 Avenue, Acheson location
