Account Executive - A&D Commercial Flooring Sales
Location: North York, Ontario.
Compensation: Competitive salary + uncapped monthly commissions (OTE $100k-$120k in year one, potential for $150k-$200k within a few years)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM
Travel: 80%+ GTA (company-paid gas card + $700/mo car allowance; paid maintenance)

Our client is one of Canadas leading luxury flooring wholesale distributors and retailers of high-end flooring and wall products that enhance any space. Based in North York, this team is dedicated to delivering beautiful, functional designs and helping a wide range of clients, including designers, contractors, and homeowners, find the perfect products for their projects. We are looking for a results-driven B2B Account Executive to lead business development within the Architectural and Design community, selling premium flooring and wall products into high-rise residential projects across Ontario.
Position Overview:
The Account Executive - A&D Commercial Flooring Sales will be the sole representative for our New Builds/High Rise division. This client-facing sales role focuses on business development and account management within the architectural and design community. You will identify, close, and manage high-value projects for Architectural & Design firms working on large-scale residential and commercial high-rise buildings.
Note: Applicants without relevant direct B2B sales experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Expand and maintain relationships with A&D firms by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prospect and close new business within the high-rise residential and commercial sector.
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery and proposal through presentation, negotiation, and close.
- Develop proposals that demonstrate return on investment and aesthetic fit for architects, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Host lunch and learns for clients.
- Stay current on industry trends and product innovations to provide expert consultation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Manage an Ontario-focused territory including Hamilton, Kingston, and Sudbury.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 to 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in design-related industries.
- Must have a demonstrated track record of selling technical products into Architectural & Design firms within the GTA.
- Must have local GTA knowledge and be comfortable meeting clients on the road 80% of the time.
- Experience working on large-scale residential project plans.
- Preferred background in architecture, design, fashion, or other creative industries.
- Knowledge of hard-surface materials such as tile, stone, mosaics, and porcelain is an asset.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel across the GTA (company-paid gas card, $700 monthly car allowance, paid maintenance).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
