What You'll Do:
Lead contract administration for transportation projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
Analyze project billings and prepare detailed payment status reports.
Research correspondence and provide summaries with actionable recommendations.
Develop billing instructions and other contract-related guidelines for project teams.
Prepare financial reports on contract costs, funding, and project statuses.
Manage the process for opening and closing project charge numbers for authorized expenses.
Administer Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for assigned contracts.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
What We're Looking For:
Completion of the MTO TLT131-Advanced Claims - Dispute Resolution training.
Experience as a Construction Contract Administrator or Senior Road Construction Inspector on multiple MTO projects, including:
At least one project with a tender value of $3.8 million or more.
Experience with grading, drainage, and hot mix paving contracts.
Experience with new structures or structural replacement contracts.
Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Registration with PEO or OACETT, or eligibility for registration.
Strong knowledge of MTO's CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION AND INSPECTION SPECIFICATIONS (CAIS) Manual.
Familiarity with applicable design standards, OPS specifications, standard drawings, and quality control/quality assurance material testing methods.
