Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Journeyman Pipefitters and Apprentice Pipefitters to join our team for a short term specialized project involving internal vessel modifications.

What we offer:

  • Journeyman rate of $50/hour
  • Apprentice rates: 1st Year - $28.60, 2nd Year - $33.80, 3rd Year - $39.00 and 4th Year - $44.20
  • $3/hour night shift premium
  • Camp accommodations provided
  • Day and night shifts, working 12hr days
  • Tentative start date: May 3rd, 2025
  • Duration: 3 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pipefitting tasks inside pressure vessels and confined spaces
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, blueprints, and isometric drawings
  • Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe systems
  • Fit, tack, and install piping components with precision
  • Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel and stainless
  • Collaborate with welders and other trades on vessel modifications
  • Follow all safety protocols, especially related to confined space entry

Requirements:

  • Valid CSTS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and WHMIS
  • Confined Space Entry & Monitor ticket (valid/current)
  • Ability to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Journeyman Pipefitters:

  • Valid Journeyman Pipefitter Certification (Red Seal preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience, ideally with internal vessel or industrial mods
  • Strong understanding of process piping systems

Apprentice Pipefitters:

  • Registered as a 1st to 4th Year Apprentice
  • Prior experience on industrial sites is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and follow direction closely
  • Safety-conscious and reliable
