Job Description :

We are hiring a Senior Landscape Technician with strong experience in irrigation installation and a solid foundation in landscape construction (hardscape and softscape). Youll work on both residential and commercial projects as part of our construction teamtaking a lead role when irrigation is involved and contributing to all other landscape construction work when it isnt.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of irrigation systems
Perform landscape construction duties: site prep, grading, paver installation, retaining walls, sod, planting, and more.
Interpret plans and blueprints for both landscape and irrigation systems.
Operate equipment such as skid steers, walk-behinds, and mini excavators.
Support foremen in maintaining quality, efficiency, and schedule.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Participate in winter work, including anti-ice and snow removal when needed.

Qualifications:
Proven Experience in irrigation system installation is required.
Background in landscape construction (hardscape and/or softscape).
IIABC Certification or irrigation-related training is an asset.
Strong understanding of irrigation components and layout.
Understands irrigation and construction blueprints
Comfortable operating small- to mid-size landscape equipment.
Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in all weather conditions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Class 5 Drivers License is an asset.

Compensation

$28 -$38 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00 pm

Different Greater Victoria work sites.
