The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a variety of development efforts—ranging from consulting projects with detailed specifications and comprehensive reporting to internal product development initiatives. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented leader who is comfortable navigating the dynamic and multifaceted nature of a startup. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that project milestones are clearly defined, met on schedule, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans outlining deliverables, timelines, and resources.
• Coordinate project execution across consulting engagements and internal product development cycles.
• Utilize GitHub Projects to track progress, manage backlogs, and collaborate.
• Facilitate regular meetings to monitor progress and identify risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project specifications & documentation including tracking deadlines and monitoring reporting and invoicing requirements.
• Ensure that all project milestones, challenges, and resolutions are clearly documented and communicated across teams.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Foster a transparent, collaborative environment that supports the dynamic needs of a startup.
• Continually evaluate and improve project management processes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' project management experience in technology or software development, with exposure to startup environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently, including both consulting projects with external partners and product development initiatives.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Expertise in project planning, risk management, and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with GitHub Projects to manage issues, track progress, and collaborate with technical teams.
• Ability to distill complex technical and business requirements into actionable project plans.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Sciences or a related field.
