Overview of the Assignment
The Project Management Office (PMO) requires a project manager to help with the management of internal IT projects within the OCIO. These projects will be strictly Information Technology projects and a background in IT projects will be a requirement.
Assignment Details
Working under the direction of the Delivery Manager, the responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager will include, but not be limited to the following.
This is a professional services project. All costs must be included in the proposal (i.e. travel and accommodations if required).
The project manager will work with OCIO to provide the following project management responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation and launch of technology solutions for client projects
- Meet with clients to discuss project progress, timelines, etc.
- Plan, track and control progress and resources including maintenance of governance documentation, deliverables and project plans
- Act as the primary contact and escalation point for Steering Committee's, Project Sponsors, Business Owners and Project Team
- Manage project risks, issues and Changes using a structured and logical approach
- Manage Project Budgets and Costs
