We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Paid Social to lead our paid social media efforts and drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and business growth across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned performance marketer with deep expertise in paid social channels, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership. This role will play a critical part in shaping our overall digital marketing strategy, optimizing media spend, and delivering measurable results in the SaaS industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive paid social media strategy across platforms including Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and emerging channels.
- Oversee Google Ads campaigns to complement paid social strategies, ensuring alignment across paid media channels for customer acquisition and brand awareness.
- Own the paid social media budget, managing allocation, forecasting, and reporting to maximize ROI and meet business goals.
- Own the entire paid social funnel from campaign setup, audience segmentation, and creative testing to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop a robust testing framework for creative, audience, and bidding strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key platform partners (Meta, TikTok, etc.) to gain access to new features and beta opportunities.
- Present campaign performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in paid social media marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving performance marketing success across multiple paid social platforms.
- Experience in the SaaS industry with a deep understanding of customer acquisition strategies, subscription models, and B2B marketing.
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, ad formats, audience targeting, and bid strategies.
- Experience managing large-scale budgets and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hubspot, or similar reporting tools.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B SaaS marketing and demand generation.
- Familiarity with creative production workflows and best practices for paid social creative.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on digital advertising.
