The Kelowna Field Services Tech is responsible for all aspects field work including warranty service, installations and delivery assistance. This individual will work with Westeck Sales consultants, customers and various internal Westeck departments. This person will ensure all work performed follows all organizational standards as well as safety regulations and guidelines. The employee will be supplied with all required tools, including a work truck and will report from the Westeck Kelowna office.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Review, plan and schedule approved field service work.
• Complete onsite service and installation work in a timely and quality manner.
• Reduce Westeck cost through efficient use of labour and material planning.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of product at the showroom or on jobsites.
• Maintain an organized and clean work truck
• Lead by example, represent Westeck professionally.
• Form and maintain strong customer relations, in person, through email, and over the phone.
• Maintain quality standards in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Provide monthly update report to Field Service Manager.
• Periodically perform pre, during, and post service/install quality audits on third party contractors.
• Complete all administrative reporting in a timely manner.
• Respond to all communication in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in windows and doors installation and services.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work safely on ladders and scaffolding at heights over 12 feet
• Experience using MS Office Products as well as a comfort using database programs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must have a valid Drivers License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to utilize a variety of power and hand tools and to correctly read and take measurements.
