Marketing and Communications Lead

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing and Communications Lead to embrace and enhance our brand, managing a wide range of client and company projects. This role is crucial as the company is poised for significant growth over the next few years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute corporate branding, marketing, PR, and communications strategies.
  • Research, plan, and implement communication and engagement strategies for client projects, programs, events, and campaigns.
  • Create and manage proposals and business development activities.
  • Produce various documents including fact sheets, reports, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, web copy, social media content, and news releases.
  • Develop and evaluate digital strategies for both company and client projects.
  • Oversee research for policy or program development and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Design and develop marketing collateral.
  • Manage vendors and enable sales strategies, tracking their KPIs.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear and plain language.
  • Experience in graphic design, web design, and/or video production.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, Canva, and Wix.
  • Public sector experience and knowledge of Municipal, Regional, and/or Provincial Government projects is an asset.
  • Experience with SEO, CRM software, and KPI tracking and analytics.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a natural ability to build relationships.
  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Marketing experience in construction, manufacturing, architecture, or real estate is an asset.
  • Experience in corporate branding, communications, and public relations.
  • A natural eye for design and interest in architecture.
  • A valid BC Driver's License is not required but is a strong asset for local travel.
