Valo Networks is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the Director of Sales & Marketing in all aspects of our marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in digital marketing, sales automation, and CRM systems, with a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic business environment.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Sales & Marketing Automation: Develop and maintain sales automation workflows, email marketing campaigns, and lead nurturing strategies using HubSpot.
- Demand Generation: Assist in the creation and execution of demand generation campaigns to attract and engage potential customers via HubSpot Sales workflow.
- Segmentation & Channel Strategies: Collaborate on delivery of target audience segments and channel strategies for each.
- Website Optimization: Assist in maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring optimal user experience and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Sales Intelligence: Gather and analyze market data and competitor information to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Sales Support: Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on customer meetings, and assist in producing sales proposals and presentations.
- Marketing Programs & Events: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing programs, creative initiatives, and industry conferences.
- Strategic Planning: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against the Sales & Marketing strategic business plan.
- Cross-Functional Support: Assist in RFP responses, proposal development, and other areas of the business as needed.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, sales automation, and CRM systems.
- Experience or knowledge of SEO and CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
