Our client's project is designed to improve the quality, safety, and consistency of patient care across British Columbia health organizations: The project's clinical goals are to improve safety, reduce unnecessary work, increase consistency, provide more accurateinformation, and improve information system reliability and sustainability.
We are looking for Clinical Analyst - Acute Care to supplement the efforts related to the design, build, implementation, training, evaluation, testing, maintenance, and support of the Cerner Millennium suite as it relates to the complex acute care information systems environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Design: Work as part of the design team to develop sound design and standards relative to workflow, vocabulary, content, user interface, and logic. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in all steps of the design phase.
• Implementation Support: Is able to demonstrate the functional capabilities and benefits of the application.
• Testing and Validation: Participates as a project team lead/member in the testing efforts, including test scenario development, execution of test scripts, and documentation of results.
• Training: Trains less experienced team members to fill knowledge gaps.
• Go-Live Support: Interfacing with end-users to provide application assistance.
• Post-Live Support: Provide post-live application support
• Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation (WORD, EXCEL, MPP, PowerPoint, Visio)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient and knowledgeable at building and maintaining the Cerner CareNet Millennium suite of applications.
• Preferred experience with implementing Cerner Millennium in a complex Acute Care Information Systems environment specific to Medical/Surgical, Renal, Pediatric, Neonatal, Mental Health, Allied Health, Critical Care, Cardiology, Residential, Palliative/Hospice, and Transplantation.
• Knowledge of Cerner Millennium Powerchart and Medication Administration applications.
• Build and maintenance experience with Cerner Millennium Powerchart is required, including ESH, PowerForms, IView, Mpages, Dynamic Documentation, Orders, and Rules.
• Experience troubleshooting issues in Cerner, including a high-level understanding of the Cerner data model and architecture.
• Must be able to lead application design sessions with customers (including agendas, action items, minutes, etc.)
• Must provide mentorship and training to less experienced team members to fill in knowledge gaps related to the design and build of business requirements using Cerner Millennium applications.
• The ability to complete project tasks and assignments on time is required.
• Proficient in MS Office including using Visio for workflow designs.
