We are looking for a Senior Technology Specialist to join our Security and Technology team and play a pivotal role in providing senior support for our service desk and IT analysts. This role involves managing various SaaS platforms. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to drive technology improvement projects, ensure cloud security, and provide solution engineering expertise to developers. As our Senior Technology Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing the configuration for a mixed fleet of Windows and Mac-based laptops, as well as implementation and management of cloud-based Identity Provider software and site-level networking.

What You'll Do

  • Provide senior support and guidance for IT & Security analysts, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate efficient issue resolution and knowledge sharing within the IT team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, focusing on efficiency gains and better internal and external customer experience.
  • Provide support to vendor personnel during installation, configuration and troubleshooting of clinical hardware.
  • Manage SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, etc., ensuring optimal security, performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute technology improvement projects, addressing system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Offer technology implementation expertise to developers, contributing to the design and implementation of our platform solutions.
  • Manage the configuration of a mixed fleet of Windows and Mac-based end user devices, maintaining compliance and security across all devices.
  • Enforce and support identity and access management policies through a central identity provider, ensuring a seamless authentication experience.
  • Oversee company wide networking, including planning, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization for efficient data transfer and communication.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong troubleshooting mindset.
  • Proficiency in managing enterprise cloud based SaaS platforms, such as Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Slack.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver technology improvement projects.
  • Experience with cloud based configuration management for both Windows and Mac-based laptops, ensuring consistency and security.
  • Expertise in multi-site office networking using cloud based management systems such as Cisco meraki.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Nice to have: experience supporting security compliance audits such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 Type II.

The base salary for this role ranges from $99,940 - $128,250 in local currency, depending upon experience
