They are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage and execute projects efficiently, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety. Job Description:

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be the on-site driving force behind complex tenant improvement projects, directly influencing project outcomes through meticulous planning, skilled management, and effective communication. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and above expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee all phases of the construction process from initial planning to completion. Responsible for schedule management, coordination of subcontractors, and direct interaction with clients and design teams.
• Quality Control: Ensure all workmanship complies with contractual specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and enforce strict quality control measures.
• Safety Management: Implement and oversee safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel. Lead safety meetings and training sessions, and swiftly address any safety issues on the site.
• Communication: Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Maintain clear and open communication to ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and requirements.
• Documentation: Manage all project-related documents, including contracts, change orders, project schedules, and inspection records. Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation that complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. Adapt plans and schedules as necessary to mitigate impacts to the project.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role, specifically in commercial tenant improvement projects.
• Education: A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
• Certifications: Valid construction and safety certifications are required (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, etc.).
