Our client is concerned with all aspects of ensuring that the necessary computer systems are implemented to further the organization's vision. Their projects provide a redevelopment experienced team to lead and support the IMIT related planning, architecture, design, construction, configuration, systems procurement, builder compliance, and move-in on large capital facility projects.
The IMIT Solutions team supporting these initiatives requires an IM Delivery Manager experienced working in large health care clinical informatics initiatives.
What you will be doing:This IM Delivery Manager role is responsible for directing leading a project management team for multiple initiatives involving clinical direct care and clinical support application acquisition, deployment, and configuration.
  • Organize and oversee the detailed planning and delivery of the IM work
  • Oversee and coordinate all of the various application delivery projects and system configuration workstreams, prepare the necessary project PMO documents, and coordinate with the leads of the interrelated and parallel streams of work.
  • Create a masterwork breakdown structure, master schedule, and coordinate project implementation tasks in collaboration with other project teams, within the Redevelopment project and across the organization.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and scope change management processes related to the IM deliverables.
  • Engage as part of the IMIT Leadership team and work closely with other delivery managers and IMIT workstream leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8-year experience in an IM applications project or program management delivery role leading, planning, prioritizing, and executing on multiple deliveries simultaneously.
  • Expert level consultant with skills and experience necessary to provide the desired services and deliverables above.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, changing/reactionary priorities environment.
  • Able to efficiently prioritize and structure clear and unclear workloads.
  • Open to rolling up your sleeves, applying subject matter understanding and project management expertise, to dive into the details to uncover optimal solutions to application procurement, design, configuration, and hand-over sustain problems.
Qualifications that are a plus preference:
  • Healthcare industry experience in an IM or clinical informatics capacity.
  • 5 years of experience working on large-scale construction projects in an IM project management role in the healthcare industry.
  • Formal project management training or certification.
