The Position:

Summit Search Grouphas been retained byEH Priceon the recruitment of their next Sales Engineer in the Mechanical Division. EH Price has been supplying the Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario Commercial and industrial markets for over 70 years. The Sales Engineer will focus on sales and customer service by working with managers to achieve branch and division goals. The successful candidate has a strong technical background to assist mechanical contractors and service customers in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for issuing purchase orders to manufactures and releasing equipment for production.
  • Participate in quoting large projects and working with the mechanical sales team to ensure all relationships are utilized to put the company in a position to succeed on projects.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other divisions as required.
  • Submission of drawing packages and overseeing project managers in the division.
  • Weekly review of projects with the mechanical division team.
  • Attend manufactures factory/training visits to ensure they are up to date on the latest product developments.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years sales experience.
  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Eng, EIT, CET, or MET certification is required.
  • Working knowledge on how to read and interpret construction drawings is ideal.
  • Experience working with or selling mechanical equipment would be considered an asset.
