Northlake is looking to hire a Bilingual Financial Services Agent to work at our new office in Barrie. The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years experience in a consumer collections role, a passion for working with customers over the phone, work within company policy but can think outside the box when needed, target focused with an extremely high level of integrity. The successful candidate must have solid accountability, excellent problem-solving skills and use good judgment.

OFFICE LOCATION

Located: Barrie, ON

Responsibilities for a Bilingual Income Analyst:

  • This is an in-office position
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails.
  • Review income and credit to assist in financial decisions or collections.
  • High understanding of income and other financial documents such as paystubs, tax, bankruptcy, and insurance documents
  • Communicate inefficiencies and solutions effectively.
  • Coordinate will all teams to achieve targets and adhere to department metrics.
  • Provide Excellent communication and customer service skills in person, over email or calls.
  • Document all call & email activity details in our databases.
  • Knowledge of Financial and Loan Management Software Systems
  • Complete other department duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications for a Bilingual Income Analyst:

  • Ability to work in office.
  • MUST be able to speak, read and write in French
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections or related financial services roles.
  • Strong knowledge of collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Financial & Loan Management Software
  • Proficiency in MS 365 (Office, Excel, Word & Teams)
