The Opportunity

**This position is for a 12-18 month maternity leave coverage.

As the Marketing & Resident Experience Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and promoting our properties through effective marketing strategies. You will assist the Marketing Manager and the property teams in the creation of marketing materials, ensuring both corporate and project branding is consistent across all residential properties. You will also be the point person for creating and troubleshooting the property websites and placing a presence on other online advertising venues.

The Marketing & Resident Experience Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Manager, Multi-Family, and works closely with the Regional Managers.

Accountabilities

Marketing and Leasing

  • Provide input for the preparation of the property Marketing Plans.
  • Analyze market surveys, analyze competition, and identify market trends for the purpose of providing creative strategies for driving traffic to the properties.
  • Create and work with the Marketing Manager and Leasing Professionals to create, execute, and maintain advertising, social media, and promotional programs to provide the residential community with qualified traffic in the target market.
  • Monitor and make changes to the property Rent Café websites and ensure ILS listings and social media campaigns are updated and accurate.
  • Update Yardi with rental incentives, rental rate changes, etc.
  • Create digital marketing strategies and programs to support both marketing and resident retention strategies.
  • Create customer service surveys, assist with distribution, collection, and analytics of the results for reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate photography, videography, and virtual tours of units on a need basis.
  • External marketing of local businesses to promote property and referral programs.
  • Assist in composing the marketing & leasing strategy, lease-up budget and suite finishes for new development projects in the pipeline.
  • Assist with construction & development teams on all upcoming projects.
  • Assist with external vendors- interior designers, marketing agency, signage, etc.
  • Assist the agency with branding and marketing collateral (brochure creation, floor plan creation, advertising, tracking, branding input, etc.)
  • Other duties as required and assigned by the Marketing Manager, Multi-Family.

Resident Experience and Customer Service

  • Create positive first impressions by ensuring online experiences are easy and informative.
  • Assist Resident Experience Coordinators with their event plans and budgets.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to create a strong sense of community and resident engagement within the Multi-Family properties.
  • Research and implement new resident event initiatives.
  • Revamp and manage resident experience meetings and reporting.
  • Work with site teams to develop a cohesive VIP Advantage program amongst properties.
  • Strategize and train site staff on effective communication channels, such as newsletters, and surveys, to keep residents informed and engaged.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to identify opportunities for service improvements and amenity enhancements. Use resident feedback to implement changes and enhancements that align with resident preferences.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure FFE requirements are maintained to ensure an above-satisfactory experience for residents.
  • Train new site staff on dress code, event management, Canva, Monday.com, Respage, Vertical City, Rent Café,
  • Develop and implement a program to recognize and celebrate resident milestones, birthdays, and special occasions to show appreciation and create a sense of community.
  • Assist with writing and distributing necessary resident communications.

Reporting and Administration

  • Coordinate all printing requirements of marketing materials.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in compiling monthly/quarterly client reporting.
  • Assist with yearly advertising budget recommendations.
  • Review incoming marketing invoices and send them for processing.
  • Complete signage audits across the portfolio inclusive of communications collateral is correct with branding guidelines. Ordering of building signage i.e. pylon signs, a-frames, plaques, bow flags.

Qualifications

  • Education - Relevant post-secondary education in marketing, and/or communications. Graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Experience - Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and social media management.
  • Relationship Skills - Highly motivated and driven; collaborative attitude. Ability to adapt to multiple working and learning styles; ability to inspire staff to meet goals. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with staff; ability to establish collaborative working relationships across team units.
  • Organizational/Multi-Task Skills –Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; ability to achieve quality results ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities and adapt to new ideas and constant changes; detail oriented, and accurate.
  • Computer Skills –Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment.
