Bonnyville Welding Ltd. is looking for a Field Safety Advisor to immediately join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as experience in a health and safety role or field role in the oil and gas industry.

About the Role:

• This is a project role (project approx 7 months)
• Camp based area with a 14-7 shift, working 12 hour days
• Travel Allowance provided
• Offered as employee role or direct service provider

Responsibilities:

• Promote the health, safety, and well-being of all employees
• Provide advice and guidance to employees on health and safety issues
• Monitor and ensure compliance within the health and safety program and applicable legislation
• Investigate incidents
• Recommend procedures and equipment for risk reduction and to ensure compliance (e.g. Personal Protective Equipment)
• Participate in the identification, evaluation, control, and management of hazards and risks
• Update, maintain, and deliver safety orientation, on-going training, and awareness programs

Qualifications:

• NCSO
• 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety role or field role in oil and gas industry an asset
• Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Valid First Aid, H2S, CSO, Incident Investigation
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to pass a 10 panel pre-access D&A test
