We have a jobsite position available for a person who will install equipment for water/wastewater treatment. While this person will work for extended periods of time at jobsites semi-local to Burlington, Ontario, there will also be periods of in-shop work at our head office and manufacturing facility in Burlington. This position requires a candidate who is capable of the following.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely, and with a high level of comfort, accurately use hand tools and small machine equipment. Including but not limited to;
  1. Hand drills for use in carbon and stainless-steel drilling and tapping.
  2. Angle grinders for both cutting and grinding
  3. Pipe cutter/threader
  4. Drill press/Mill
  5. Miter saw – for PVC
• Accurately read and understand spool assembly and fabrication drawings.
• Accurately and to a high level of quality assemble threaded Stainless-steel pipe spools including instruments, valves, and devices.
• Accurately and to a high level of quality assemble threaded and solvent welded PVC/CPVC pipe spools including instruments, valves, and devices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Positive attitude
• 3-Years minimum of related experience.
• Understanding of fluid system assembly and best practices for handling instruments, valves, and devices.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to a sudden change in plan, to work with multiple teams and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• “G” Driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
