Hybrid Work Model

Job Description

The Senior Software Developer is the backbone of a development team, focused on producing high-quality software that operates at scale. You will contribute to the team by playing a leading role in defining solutions to complex technology puzzles. This will include building solid Identity and Access management capabilities. With your passion for software development and proven object-oriented design skills, you will produce quality code and proactively communicate with other stakeholders regarding business requirements.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Develop software according to Assent's software development life-cycle (SDLC) process, Security, Design & Architecture Guidelines and Coding standards;
  • Document and articulate software designs - we are a fan of C4 Model for visualizing Software Architecture;
  • Contribute to and lead requirements management and review - provide task estimates, project scoping;
  • Lead the development process for one or more features;
  • Resolve problems that are diverse and complex;
  • Review code, make recommendations and collaborate effectively within and across teams;
  • Seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement with growth mindset;
  • Mentor other developers as they grow in their careers;

Qualifications

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software development experience;
  • An excellent command over C# / .NET;
  • Solid, demonstrable experience with two or more of the following:
    • Angular
    • MS SQL Server
    • Github Actions
    • Containers
    • Terraform
    • Auth0
    • AWS
  • Experience building SaaS products at scale;
  • Experience delivering products & features through modern Software development practices including CI / CD, Feature flags, Product analytics etc;
  • You understand the importance of documentation, cross-functional collaboration and teamwork;
