Role: Lead Program Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC-Hybrid

Duration: C2C/Fulltime

Exp 15 + years minimum

PMP/ CSM/ & ACP are Mandates

• Experience with Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
• Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives.
• A quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer to holistic solutions; a systems thinker
• Define and enforce a governance framework to select what is in the portfolio, ensuring the proper visibility and approvals are in place.
• Regularly review project progress, performance against targets, and any deviations, and send progress reports to stakeholders and executive management.
• Generate audience-specific deliverables, rollup views, and messaging.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to build and execute against program roadmap.
• Work directly with external technology providers, customers or partners depending on requirements.
• Make connections (to people and/or technologies) and ensure the right people are part of the conversation at the right time.
• Focus on the larger business and technology picture (i.e., customer experience, processes, opportunities, and/or problems to be solved).
• Manage the overall schedule, proactively mitigate risks, communicate program status and keep the scope of engineering efforts under control.
• Accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., "Path to green"), and escalating appropriately.
• Deeply understand the operational, business and technical requirements of the solutions being built and drive the right outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in technology
• 5+ years of project management or scrum master experience.
• Strong communication skills: both verbal and written.
• Proven experience with managing global teams with DevOps practices.
• Retail experience with knowledge in enterprise systems.
• Experience in agile/enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Zoom, MS Teams.
• Preferred Scrum Master certification.
• Preferred Flex or other Product Lifecycle Management experience.
