Are you a detailed orientated person who can operate in a fast-paced environment and has the interpersonal skills to work with third-party brokers?

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing month-end closing entries in the accounting system
  • Reconciling between front-end source system and accounting GL in NetSuite, investigating, and resolving discrepancies
  • Coordinating and obtaining approval for invoice from relevant manager and submitting to management for final approval
  • Creating and recording intercompany Account Receivable invoices
  • Submitting tax remittances and tax filing
  • Compiling and distributing financial reports and management reporting package
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information including bank statement, cash receipt, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Supporting Portfolio and Cash Management function as necessary
  • Other accounting duties that management may require

Skills Knowledge & Experience

  • Relevant university degree combined with two years of work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures and budgeting methods
  • Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to produce and manage daily management reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Aspire and NetSuite would be an asset
  • Working towards completing the CPA designation is a plus
