As our crate builder you'll be responsible for ensuring all finished product is properly packed for shipping. As the work varies from day-to-day, our most successful Crate Builder must have a professional work ethic, ability to adapt to change, and strong problem solving skills. You are the last point of contact for every single sign that leaves our warehouse. Your organization and ability to understand the job at hand is crucial.

Duties & Expectations:

• Responsible for cutting wood, building custom crates, banding skids, shrink wrapping, and labeling finished projects for shipment
• Assist in trailer loading and securing.
• Help in yard maintenance, garbage runs, and general shop labour.
• Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Effectively manage time to ensure on-time delivery of every project
• Ability to run a bobcat or telehandler is an asset.
• Ability to drive with a trailer is an asset.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experienced Carpentry skills
• Must have VALID 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation
